Sports biomechanics applies the laws of mechanics and physics to human performance. At G4 Athlete, we seek to understand the mechanical cause-and-effect relationships that contribute to injury and uncover potential constraints to performance. Your assessment helps identify the efficiency, alignment, and balanced motion needed for your goals.

Asymmetry can lead to injury and decreased performance. Assessment helps bring important movement differences into focus.

G4 works to create the alignment, efficiency, and balanced motion that support functional fitness and athletic performance.

G4 professionals assess pertinent issues with you, then develop a plan of action to address deficiencies and optimize performance.
For an initial visit, plan to arrive 15 minutes early and allow 45–60 minutes for your appointment. Please bring clothing that allows us to properly examine your condition or injury; exercise clothing and athletic shoes are recommended. For orthotic evaluations, bring your exercise clothing, footwear, and any previously worn insoles, over-the-counter arch supports, or custom orthotics. Digital photography, videography, or motion capture may be integrated into the analysis.
